okay so tbh we completely stumbled upon this campground by accident!! We ran into a small battery issue when we were camping in Yosemite & To fix it, we needed to plug our van into a power outlet (the Yosemite valley campgrounds don’t have power).
I started googling RV camps near Yosemite when this one popped up! We blindly booked it, just knowing it had plug ins and tbh we were super bummed we had to leave the valley for a night.
BUT when we got there we were very pleasantly surprised!!! The campground is right by a gorgeous river with tons of shade trees, had PHENOMENAL showers (a true luxury) and also had a little swimming hole and sandy beach area tucked into the back of it!
It was reasonably priced for being so close to Yosemite and in a cute little town with grocery stores and other fun amenities.
The park is called High Sierra RV & Mobile Park and it is in Oakhurst! Just 25 min from the park entrance and 1.5 hr from Yosemite Valley.
This is a great option for any larger RVs or just anyone not able to get sites in the park!!
